To celebrate, we'll be doing a contest to see how many times people have visited the website. Simply write down your guess and name on a sheet of paper and turn it into the box at every meeting until September 18, the approximate date that this website went live. The CLOSEST person to the number WITHOUT going over will win a prize! Good luck!
From Mr. McDonald:
The 2019 summer camp has been confirmed now and will be at Camp Daniel Boone in North Carolina. It is the week of June 23rd. It will be a great time and was selected in part because it is a camp which has the highest elevation of any camp east of the Mississippi river! They boast that they don't need an A/C mess hall because it is always cool even in summer. They also have a great high adventure camp (Harrison) and we hope to have both younger and older scouts attend the high adventure trip. To do the white water rafting high adventure trip, you need to be 13 and at least 100 lbs. Everyone else can enjoy the many many other aspects of the camp, including 70 MB offered and a whole town which is like it was back in the 1700's Did I say we are going to have a blast? We are still working out the cost which will largely be affected by the mode of transportation. We should have more information soon on that. I am going to try to get all scouts signed up to spend a day on the whitewater (a little slower than the high adventure group) at some time during the week. We will be getting signups for this trip in the next few weeks.

Our troop uses a private email service known as Yahoo Groups. At least one parent from each family should be on this group. If a scout has an UNRESTRICTED email account, he should also be on it. Contact Mr. Bennett for access.
National Average: 5-6%
We have about 40-50 Scouts of all ranks, as well as an equal number of adult leaders and participants. The smaller size of our troop allows for individual attention to each boy's advancement.
We became a Troop in 2003, chartered through Saint Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood, Texas. Our name was Troop 727 in Kingwood. We are the best Troop for Boy Scouts in Kingwood and Boy Scouts in Houston!
We go on monthly campouts, as well as an annual summer camp. There are also many activities and fundraisers occurring throughout the year. We are the troop that puts out the flags in your neighborhood on patriotic holidays! Older Scouts attend high adventure camps each summer. We meet every Tuesday night at 7:30 in the Youth Center at Saint Martha Catholic School.
We welcome you to visit our weekly meetings Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. Please call Mike McDonald at 832-995-9534 to schedule a visit.
